SAINT
PAUL YACHT CLUB
Dedicated to Safe and Affordable Boating Since 1912
-Welcome to the St. Paul
Yacht Club-
The St. Paul Yacht Club
has been in continuous operation on Harriet Island since 1912. We are dedicated
to safe and affordable boating for the citizens of St. Paul and the surrounding
communities. We are proud of our facilities and our location in St. Paul’s
premier public park - Harriet Island.
Harbors - We operate two harbor facilities within Harriet Island Regional
Park with a total of 230 boat slips ranging in size from 24’ to over 50’ in
length. All slips have electrical and water service. Each harbor is
equipped with its own state of the art pump out system that is available for use
free of charge to slipholders. We offer winter storage in our boat yard at the
west end of Harriet Island. Please see the included price list for more details.
Club - The harbors are owned and operated by the St. Paul Yacht Club, a
non-profit corporation that was founded in 1912 to promote boating activities on
the Mississippi River. Our mission is to provide safe and affordable access to
the river. Full membership in the club requires a $1500 initiation fee and
entitles members to voting privileges, discounts, and the ability to transfer
slips with the sale of a boat. Club membership is not required to rent a
slip.
Gas Dock - We operate a full service gas dock located just outside our
upper harbor mouth. Gas, ice cream, pump outs, water, and selected ship store
items are available. The gas dock is manned until 4 pm weekdays and 8 pm
weekends.
Club House - We maintain a floating club house permanently moored in the
upper harbor. It features bathrooms and shower facilities, kitchen, and room for
meeting and social gatherings. The Clubhouse can be used for individual
slipholder events as well as club functions.
Waiting List - We are a public
marina and fill our slips on a first come - first served basis, however
preference is given to St. Paul residents. The application for the waiting list
is available on our site. Please fill it out and return it with a $100 deposit
to be considered for a slip.
